We bring new young voters and activists into the Republican Party across Florida’s rural heartland — through community events, campus outreach and fellowship that turns neighbors into fellow members.
Heartlands Young Republicans brings together young conservatives from DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands and Okeechobee Counties to grow the Republican Party, develop the leaders of tomorrow and elect candidates who share our values. Recruit. Train. Elect.
We bring new young voters and activists into the Republican Party across Florida’s rural heartland — through community events, campus outreach and fellowship that turns neighbors into fellow members.
From campaign skills and public speaking to parliamentary procedure and running for office, we give our members the practical training to lead — locally and in Tallahassee.
We knock doors, make calls, wave signs and turn out the vote for Republican candidates and conservative causes, from county commission to the White House.
Heartlands YR is the official Young Republican club for Florida’s Heartlands region, chartered under the Florida Young Republicans (FLYR) and the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF). We operate as one membership and one Executive Board serving all six counties, with hybrid meetings so every member can take part — in person or online.
Membership is open to registered Republicans ages 18–40. Annual dues are just $25.

Become a member for $25 a year, come to our next meeting, or volunteer on a campaign. The Heartlands needs young conservative leaders — and that starts with you.
